The project has developed into the Garden activity group, which also plants seed bombs to regreen vegetation-poor waste ground. It’s a successful move for the flora and fauna, but also for PGH itself:<br>the school was designated a “European Eco-School/International Sustainability School 2018/2019” by Minister of Culture Michael Piazolo at a special ceremony. Project lead Melanie Kensy accepted the certificate on behalf of the school.

The title is conferred in Germany by the Association of Environmental Education (DGU), a subsidiary of the international Foundation for Environmental Education. It is awarded to schools that inculcate environmental awareness in their students and complete products in fields such as energy saving and conservation.
